Kacie PusztayHaving a house and making it a home with those I love is the most important thing to me!  That feeling of accomplishment is priceless!  That is why I know that protecting what I care about most is not a choice – but a necessity.

I always had a feeing I would end up in a career in Financial Services…and I am loving it!

I thrive on education – for myself and for others.  I feel blessed to able to provide clients with the knowledge, tools and products that better their lives, and the lives of those they care about.  Insurance can be an intimidating word….it conjures up all kinds of negative emotions.  But it doesn’t have to.  Insurance is there to provide money or income when you are unable to.  I find it ironic that people insure their belongings so thoroughly – but often neglect the most valuable piece – the piece that brings in the money to buy all of those precious things – which is YOU!  Living insurance and life insurance is fairly inexpensive – but is of extraordinary value when you need it!  That’s why I do what I do.

There are not many jobs where you get the freedom to make your own hours, sit outside on a patio in the sun and help people at the same time.  Starting conversations with complete strangers often leads to great discussions.  Great discussions often lead to long term clients!

My life is good.   How about yours?

Described by Management as:  A  passionate individual who lives out her faith through her dedication to her work.  A positive beacon to the people she works with.

Twenty years ago, I started out my career with an Office Administration diploma from Conestoga College and worked full time for 5.5 years.  In that time I married my high school sweetheart and started a family.

Being there for all of them in the beginning was really important to me so I finished working full time be a full time mom.  I did unglamorous, part time jobs – just to be a financial contributor to the family.

As my children became more independent, I knew I wanted to get back into the work force.  Part of my passion is getting to know people.  What makes them tick, their stories, their families….and I quickly realized that it was time to switch gears career-wise.  I was not finding that kind of satisfaction as an Office manager.  Also, being a mother of 3 girls, it became really important to me to set an example with a career that can make a difference in the lives of those I meet with!  In 2008, I obtained my Mutual Funds License and then built on that foundation to expand my knowledge and obtained my Life License.

A career as a Financial Representative with FaithLife Financial has opened many doors and has offered various unique experiences.  The training and support they offer has been a blessing.  And speaking of blessings – my husband has been a major one.  He has supported me through my pursuit, and made the challenges easier to overcome.

Helping individuals meet their goals is a top priority!  Do you have goals that you need help obtaining?  Call me – it won’t hurt – but it will help!

Greetings everyone, I am Doug Deichert.  I have been with Faithlife Financial for over 13 years.  I have enjoyed many accomplishments while working here, and because of that success I have been fortunate to qualify for most of the travel rewards offered by our Corporate office. I’ve seen many changes in my tenure,  dealt with a variety of people and situations – BUT I have always enjoyed what it is I do.  I have learned a valuable lesson:  Life Is What You Make It.

This year the love of my life, Joanne, and I will celebrate 24 years of marriage.  We have been blessed with 2 amazing sons, Jacob (17) and Andrew (16).  Jacob will be headed to Humber college for Computer Game Programing in the fall.  He has earned the title of the Top Male student for 3 consecutive years, and I think he has won more awards than me!  My son Andrew and I have enjoyed working hard as a team to restore a 1970 Mustang he earned as a reward for earning a place on the Honour Role.   He wants to become an engineer.

I have worked very hard to get to where I am today!  I have taken many courses and have proudly earned my FIC,AFA,EPC designations.  Support from your family is very important in this career.  It is because of my family I do what I do – for them and for all the other families out there that need a financial road map.  For the newcomers out there:  Life Is What You Make It – so make it GOOD!

I wish you all the best!

Doug

Why Choosing FaithLife Financial Was Right For My Family

When it comes to investments and financial planning there are plenty of fish in the sea. So how does a young family with growing kids, a blossoming business and a heartfelt faith choose where to establish this essential relationship? It’s all about what those fish offer and how the partnership can benefit those involved, as well as the community beyond.

What We Looked For in a Financial Firm

My husband and I are natural savers (just look in our closets and under our bed to get an idea of what I mean). We have a conservative view of finances and like to set goals, but we aren’t especially interested in watching the markets or reading through stacks of prospectuses. What we needed was a teammate to help us along the way.

After years of working with insurance agents we had never actually met and trusting our future to financial firms that changed shape every few years, we were on the prowl for something else. Was there someone in the gigantic world of investing, insurance and financial planning that actually cared about more than profits, share prices and brokerage fees? Could we find a professional that felt the same way that we did about stewardship, responsibility and provision? Did it really matter where we tucked our money away each month or could it be doing more than we even imagined possible?

Enter our FaithLife Financial rep.

From our very first visit together on through assessments, planning, updates and even casual correspondence, we have always felt valued by the FaithLife team. It was obvious this firm was unique. And as we delved deeper into the values, commitments and  mission of FaithLife Financial we were nothing but amazed and grateful at our discoveries.

Here is a company that isn’t hoarding earnings for board members and execs, but is supporting local, national and international charities with their profits. Here is a staff that genuinely enjoys building a relationship with their customers, reaching out with a helping hand and working hard to create a firm foundation of trust. Here is a company that works with what we have and helps us to reach goals in a manner that suits our faith and personalities.

Would it be too much to admit that we even look forward to hearing from the FaithLife staff, instead of groaning at the thought of a semi-annual meeting?

Maybe it’s the mother in me, but I love the fact that our financial firm is involved with programs supporting needy children around the world. I love that FaithLife is active with local churches and international movements alike, that they offer quiet support to pastoral staff and biblical-based education to congregations and groups across the country. I love that I can find them in the spotlight and behind the scenes, always tirelessly working for and with their members.

My family’s relationship with FaithLife Financial is team-oriented, just as it should be. I truly feel like a member, instead of just an account number or customer profile.

Although there’s plenty of sharks in the financial industry sea, my husband and I are truly grateful to have found ourselves in the school of fish with FaithLife Financial. It continues to be the right choice.
